Workshop Aidan Moesby

Over three days we will be exploring the themes of working with Care, Emotions and the Climate Crisis in relation to making work for audiences.. The workshops are connected but you are welcome to come according to your availability. These workshops where we learn together in an active way.

Care - Caring is a verb, it comes with intent which, if not followed through, becomes meaningless. We know about caring for the 'work' as if it were a very delicate, fragile flower but how do we extended the same care to the artists, the workers in the institution, the audience or anyone else in the performative ecosystem?

Emotions - How do we deal with the range of emotions we want to - and sometimes those we don't - in a safe way. How can we hold ourselves and the audience - take them somewhere and bring them back? How do we talk about emotions withut talking about emotions?

Climate - How can we make work about the climate crisis without making it worse? Practical, emotional and caring approaches to working with climate through interconnected and intersectional approaches.
